Anthony writes: "I must say the graphics looked a lot better on the TV screen, I thought. :( These high-res monitors are most unkind to low-res games ..."
"Anyway. The game began life as a parody of Capcom's "Strider", and still has quite a few "borrowed" elements (Domed city, amazons, wolves, little Boba Fett characters, killer fish, giant mecha animals, and swordplay rather than shooting). However, I did have a few ideas of my own as the game went on ... although I can claim no credit for Level 3's evil clones (as I later realised I'd stolen them from "Double Dragon II" instead). ;) My main hope was to create something that preserved the spirit of "Strider" while being more playable than the actual C64 conversion of that game, but I leave that for the experts to judge."
"Plot (as such): in the 22nd century, an evil cult led by a mysterious force has infiltrated the world government, and with a mixture of terror and cybernetic control has enslaved all nations. A resistance movement has emerged, but has only been able to train two operatives - twin sisters Nadia and Mariska - in the use of a new anti-cyborg vibro-sword weapon. Though vastly outnumbered, these agents must fight their way out of the global capital, through a defence base in the Arctic wasteland, down a tunnel that cuts right through the infrastructure of the enemy's cyber control systems, and thus trace their way to the true centre of the enemy's power and discover its true nature (before slaughtering it good and proper, of course)."
"Hope you like it, or at least it isn't too much of a chore to play. I endeavoured to make it winnable without cheating, at any rate (A lesson I learned from having been well frustrated with my own early SEUCK efforts)."

Anthony writes: "I designed this game with the sideways SEUCK editor, Richard Bayliss added the music. It was conceived as a "Golden Axe" style game, though (SEUCK being what it is) it plays more like "Commando" with a "Golden Axe" veneer."
"The plot is very simple: a horde of undead abominations have overrun a peaceful village, and two wandering heroes-for-hire have come along to slaughter them all and restore peace (hopefully). Player one is the Amazon (with rapid short-range sword attack) and player two is the barbarian (with a slightly underpowered but long-range throwing axe attack ... for which cowardice he is further penalised by starting the game with fewer lives)."
"(I can't honestly claim to have won it without cheat mode, though I have made an effort to remove all "certain death" situations)."
Another NTSC game, so you will need to change modes in your emulator.
Roger gives us a lovely little game with lots of musical notes.

ADVICE ON PLAYING THE GAMES
To play these games on your PC or Macintosh you will need an emulator.
This is a program that acts like another computer (in our case, a Commodore 64). I recommend:
VICE for Windows users, and
Power64 for Macintosh users.
Most of the files to download from here are standard ZIP files.
Extract them to get a file that the emulator can read.
These include
D64 - a disk image
T64 - a tape image
TAP - an exact copy of an original tape
PRG - a program file
The standard SEUCK games can be loaded with the command LOAD"*",8,1 or by auto-starting the D64 file in the emulator.
SEUCK games are usually played with a joystick in port 2 for the first player and port 1 for the second. Press fire or the equivalent key to play.
